Description: There are fourteen subspecies of klipspringer: Hyatt’s Klipspringer, Nigerian Klipspringer, Abyssinian Klipspringer, Somali Klipspringer, Golden Klipspringer, Masai Klipspringer, Noack’s Klipspringer, Southern Klipspringer, Stevenson’s Klipspringer, Transvaal Klipspringer, Cape Klipspringer, Tyler’s Klipspringer, Steinhardt’s Klipspringer and Cunene Klipspringer.

Small antelope. Yellow-brown course grizzled coat. Walks on hoof tips. Stocky build.

Biggest difference between the subspecies is the colour of the pelage.

Sex Determination: Only males carry horns. However, the females are quite a bit bigger in body size than the males.
