Distribution: Southern Impala – From South Africa to north-eastern Namibia, eastern Botswana, Zimbabwe, south, central and western Zambia and south-eastern Angola.

Description: Medium sized antelope. Reddish -brown coat, with yellowish-fawn flanks, with black stripes on the back of the rump. There are three recognized colour variations: Black, White Flanked and Saddleback.
Sex Determination: Only males carry horns. Males are quite a bit heavier than females.
