Distribution: Whole of South Africa except the extreme northern Limpopo and extreme southern Mpumalanga.

Description: Medium/large antelope. Dark brown coat with white tail and white and black mane. Forward dropping and upward sweeping horns.

Sex Determination: Both sexes carry horns, males’ bosses and horns are a lot heavier and bigger than females. Males is also bigger than females.
